Ona is an AI recruiter run by Staffona HR Solutions, Alexandria, Egypt. It screens candidates through AI voice interviews, scores answers against criteria your company sets, records calls, and suggests next steps. Free trials are provided as-is with usage limits.
You set the job criteria and make the final hiring decisions. AI recommendations are advice, and your team reviews them before acting.
You must not use Ona to assess protected characteristics (age, gender, nationality, religion, health, family status) or for unlawful discrimination.
You keep your account secure and only invite people who need access.
For candidate data you are the data controller; Staffona is your processor and acts only on your instructions given through the product.
Data processed: application details, CVs, interview audio/video recordings, transcripts, AI scores, integrity signals and decisions.
Ona shows candidates a privacy notice and collects separate, dated consent for AI processing, call recording and camera video before each interview. You must not tell candidates otherwise.
Sub-processors: hosting and database (Lovable / Supabase), AI processing (OpenAI, Google), email (Resend). Data may be processed outside your country under contractual safeguards. We'll tell you before adding new sub-processors.
Security: encrypted connections, private storage for CVs and recordings, access limited to your workspace members, and an audit log of key actions.
Retention: you set how long transcripts and candidate data are kept; data is deleted or anonymised automatically after that. Candidate data requests (access, deletion) are supported in the product.
Breaches: we will notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a breach affecting your data.
Staffona does not sell your data or use your candidates' interviews to train AI models.
You can stop using Ona at any time. On request we delete your workspace data, except where the law requires us to keep it.
